Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of Power Center Church based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these Biblical doctrines.
The Godhead
There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

The Bible
We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the verbal, inspired Word of God; authoritative and without error in the original manuscripts. We maintain belief that the Scripturres of both the Old and New Testaments are designed for practical instruction in faith and conduct.

The Person and Work of the Lord Jesus Christ
Our belief stands that the Lord Jesus Christ, is the eternal Son of God and that He came into the world to manifest God to all, to fulfill prophecy, and to become the Redeemer of a lost world. We recoginize Him as the divinely provided sacrificial Lamb that took away the sin of the world through His death, and that He arose from the dead, ascended unto Heaven and will one day return for His people.
Luke 1:30-35; Hebrews 4:15; Revelation 5:6-14; Philippians 3:20-21
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Godhead dwells in every believer immediately after their faith is placed in the Lord Jesus Christ. We acknowledge the grace given from God in the form of a spiritual gift that enables followers to function as a member of the body of Christ. Even further we encourage the experience of speaking in the Heavenly tongue through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Salvation
For it is written that no one can enter the kingdom of God, unless born again spiritually which can come only through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation is not the result of any human works, but rather declaring Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, while also acknowledging His death and Resurrection until his inevitable return.

The Church
We recognize the purpose of the Church is to make Christ known to the world through those whom which He has saved. We believe that all who are united to the risen and ascended Son of God are members of the church which make up the body of Christ. At Power Center Church we gather for practical instruction of Scripture, for fellowship with God amongst other believers as well as impactful servitude of our community. Our common spiritual goal is to grow daily towards Christ-likeness.

The Responsibilities of Believers
It is the responsibility of ALL believers that we seek to walk by the Spirit, separating ourselves from worldly practices while witnessing and testifying to the truths within the Holy Scripture. We uphold the belief that followers of Christ will be judged at the seat of Christ and will also be rewarded for the faithful obedience to Him in this life.
